🦈Shark Tank
The Red Hat DAO has implemented a novel and engaging approach to assess potential collaborations, known as the "Alliance Shark Tank". This process allows the community to be directly involved in assessing and deciding upon the prospective collaborations and initiatives, ensuring only high-quality, thoroughly vetted projects get approved.
Here's how the Community Shark Tank works:
Presentation: Any individual or team with an idea, proposal, or project they want to collaborate on with the Red Hat DAO presents their proposal to the DAO community. This could be anything from a new NFT project, a technological solution, an event proposal, to a new roadmap idea.
Evaluation: The proposal is then evaluated by the Judges Live on the Tank and then later by the community in the Discord Thread. This is not just a cursory glance but a deep dive into the proposal's every aspect. The community assesses the potential benefits and risks, the feasibility, the team behind the proposal, the potential ROI, among other criteria. This process ensures that only the best, most promising, and most aligned projects get the DAO's support.
Feedback and Refinement: Once the evaluation is complete, the community provides feedback to the proposer. This could include areas of concern that need to be addressed, suggestions for improvement, or questions about certain aspects of the proposal. The proposer can then refine their proposal based on this feedback.
Promotion: If a proposal is approved by the community in discord, it is then elevated to the Council. Once the Council approves it, it is then promoted across the Red Hat DAO's platforms and networks. The community helps in spreading the word about the collaboration, which can significantly boost visibility and outreach.
Collaboration: Once promoted, the project starts its collaboration journey with the Red Hat DAO. The DAO provides support to the project in various ways - it could be technical support, marketing assistance, strategic advice, or any other type of help the project needs.
