🪑High Council

The High Council is the governing body of the Red Hat DAO, comprising three pivotal roles: The Chair, the Vice-Chair, and the Treasurer.

The Chair presides over the High Council, setting the agenda for meetings, ensuring the smooth operation of the DAO, and making sure all members follow the established rules and guidelines.

The Vice-Chair supports the Chair in their duties and steps into the Chair's role when they are unavailable. This role is vital for maintaining the continuity of the DAO's operations.

The Treasurer manages the DAO's financial affairs. They keep track of the club's treasury, ensure its accuracy, and oversee the allocation and use of funds for approved proposals.

Each member of the High Council is elected by the general members of the DAO through a democratic voting process conducted every six months on Discord. The DAO's commitment to democracy ensures that all members have a say in who gets to sit on the High Council, fostering a sense of ownership and collective responsibility.
